Since 2017, 'Phở Day' was made an official day on December 12 to celebrate and honor Vietnamese most iconic noodle soup dish 'Phở'. To follow our national tradition while embracing Karppi's unconventional nature, we would like to host 'Phở Day' to blend the old and the new, traditions and innovations.
Karppi's 'Phở Day' follows a contemporary style in our food concept, menu creation, as well as our event communication & artworks. At the event, you get to taste a 5-course Set Menu specially designed for this occasion. The core concept is to use the very ingredients of 'Phở' soup to spin off 5 different new dishes. As a result, we have totally new 5 ways to present 'Phở' from starter to dessert, all have Phở essence in them.

NOTE: We still serve our regular menu on these days, side-by-side to our Special Event offer. The regular menu is suitable for special diets and has vegan option.
​CHEF'S STORY

Karppi's head chef Phúc Phạm (Patrick), is deeply passionate about crafting innovative menu concepts that blend familiar, traditional, and iconic culinary flavors. For some time, he has envisioned using Phở essences as a foundation to develop a holistic Vietnamese fusion menu. This year’s Phở Day presented the perfect opportunity to turn that vision into reality.

“The most challenging dish to create is the dessert,” Patrick shared. “Traditionally, Phở is a savory soup with bold spice notes. The difficulty lies in preserving its signature flavor while transforming it into a light, delightful dessert that perfectly concludes the set menu and ties everything together.”

​As we preserve the authenticity of the traditional tastes, we use the original ingredients. Therefore, the event menu is NOT suitable for special diets (gluten-free and dairy-free), vegan and seafood allergies.
